Prof Jozef Rovensky is Director of the National Institute of Rheumatic Diseases. Prof Rovensky has extensive experience in AKU, having identified more than 250 patients in Slovakia. He is also the founder and director of the Centre for the Study of Alkaptonuria and Ochronosis at the National Institute for Rheumatic Diseases.
